Liar, Liar
Fletcher Reede (Jim Carrey) is a lawyer who has this chronic habit of lying to people.  Thanks to his son's birthday wish, Fletcher can't tell a lie for 24 hours.  Needless to say, in Fletcher's line of work, this doesn't make life easy.  He has to keep his wife from taking their son away from him, and at the same time keep his job.

"I'm so glad my gift could bring them closer together. My plan to phase myself out is almost complete!"

Fletcher Reede in Liar, Liar

I love this movie!!  Not since the first season of "In Living Color" have I laughed so hard at one of Jim Carrey's performances.  I almost cried laughing at the boardroom scene, and when he was trying to 'convince' the pen that it was red.  An additional treat for viewers is the outtakes at the end of the movie.  They are HILARIOUS!!  More than that was there was heart in this film.  Despite Fletcher's shortcomings, he really loved his son, and would move heaven and earth for him.  The father-son bonding was a good strength for the film. Actually, I got go see it again...
